Children's Chime Choir

Children of the church, ages 6 and over, are invited to join the St. Luke’s Children’s Chime Choir under the direction of Kendra Dechert.  No previous musical experience is necessary.  Chime choir practice will be held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM.  Students will be dismissed at 11:15AM to meet their parents for the remainder of the 10:30AM service (or can be picked up at that time)

Youth

Throughout its history, St. Luke's has provided a Sunday School for the children of the church. Led by the parents of our young parishioners, the group has experienced steady growth over the past couple of years. The mission of this group is to introduce the children to the stories and lessons of the Bible along with the history and traditions of the Episcopal Church.

As part of the Sunday School program the children are also introduced to music through the use of instruments and song. The children of St. Luke's Sunday School program participate in several special activities throughout the year. These activities include bowling parties, hayrides, hikes, Easter egg hunts, and the annual Christmas pageant. The Sunday School program serves children from preschool through eighth grade. Currently classes are held at 10am on the first and third Sundays of the month, with the exception of summer break.

Sunday School News

Classes will be held on the first and third Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM. There are classes for preschool through age15.
