St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Lebanon, PA, is proud to introduce the “Friends of Music,” a program dedicated to connecting people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of music.
Through this program, we endeavor to unite individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds by sharing meaningful experiences in music. As an outreach of the St. Luke’s Church community, the Friends of Music aims to place its inspiring musical programming within reach of local residents who would otherwise lack access or opportunity. By forging collaborative relationships with local educational institutions, artistic associations, and other faith communities, we offer inspiring programs at little or no cost to the public.
Historically rooted in the sung offices of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition, such as Evensong, our programming has expanded to include genres as diverse as chamber music, Dixieland, and jazz. Our church, with its magnificent Austin pipe organ, grand piano, and harpsichord, offers an unparalleled opportunity for visiting artists and small ensembles, as well as a venue for large choral groups like the Lebanon County Choral Society.
