Priest-in-Charge/Rector (Full Time)
St. Luke’s is an inclusive, diverse, and loving Christian community located in the heart of historic Lebanon, Pennsylvania. As a downtown church in a rural county – and the only Episcopal parish in Lebanon County – St. Luke’s holds together the richness of its long history with a spirit of welcome, hospitality, and openness.
Worship at St. Luke’s is grounded in the Book of Common Prayer and the 1982 Hymnal. Our weekly schedule includes a folk Mass on Saturday evenings, a spoken Rite I service at 8 a.m. on Sundays, a Rite II High Eucharist at 10:30 a.m., and a midweek healing service.
St. Luke’s has an active outreach ministry that supports our local community through service, hospitality, and care for neighbors in need.
The person we are seeking will offer strong spiritual guidance and collaborative leadership. The qualities we value include:
– An inspiring preacher with deep knowledge of Scripture
– A desire to grow, develop, and actively participate in St. Luke’s core ministries
– A warm, compassionate pastoral leader who is deeply involved in parish life
– A leader who provides hands-on guidance while working collaboratively with parishioners
