Dr. Terry Heisey is the Principal Organist and Director of Music at Saint Luke’s. Dr. Heisey began piano studies under his mother, Dorothy Heisey. He studied organ with local teachers including Pierce Getz, Kenneth Landis, and Timothy Albrecht. While in high school he became Organist at First Evangelical Congregational Church in Palmyra and later served as its choir director. Heisey has also served as Organist at Hope Lutheran Church in College Park, MD, Organist and Choir Director at Shells Lutheran Church in Shellsville, PA, and Music Director at Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, PA. He has given recitals at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in New York City, as well as several churches in Central PA. He and former Choirmaster Bill Claxton founded the Saint Luke’s Festival Choir and have directed the annual series of monthly Evensongs and Concerts for many years.

Jason Yannuzzi, CAGO, serves as Sub-Organist and Choirmaster for the Chancel and Festival Choirs. Jason studied Music and Education at Saint Mary’s College of Southern Maryland and studied both voice and organ. At Saint Mary’s, he was the Organ Scholar of Trinity Episcopal Church which is located on campus. Trinity’s Organ Scholar program was a partnership with the National Cathedral who used Trinity as a Summer retreat for the Boys of the Choir in exchange for the training of an organist student. In this manor, Jason studied at the National Cathedral for five years and also sang as a member of the Choir of Men and Boys. His teachers have included cathedral organists Nicholas White, Douglas Major, and Mark Laubach. In addition to being a musician, Jason is also a Coast Guard certified professional mariner, an Appalachian Trail 2000-Miler, a master kite designer and flyer, and a support professional for persons with special needs.
Sean Hackett prepares for our informal Saturday vigil service.
Sean Hackett offers music at St. Luke’s in several ways, most often as the musician at our Saturday Vigil Services and our summer outdoor services. Has been a music teacher in the Conrad Weiser School District in Robesonia for more than twenty years. Sean is the artistic director of the Lebanon County Choral Society and the conductor of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra Festival Chorus. In addition, he has served as an adjunct professor at Alvernia College and is a regular cooperating teacher for Lebanon Valley College and West Chester University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Lebanon Valley College, a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from West Chester University, and a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Messiah University. Sean also graces us with his trumpet playing on feast days and vocal offerings on special occasions. Sean lives in Palmyra with his wife and daughters.
